Gettin it together...

Around 3 weeks to go and the nursery is starting to come together. All we lack is the rocking chair! (and maybe a rug) I hope to get a picture of the finished product by this weekend.

Got the curtains hung! Thanks Misty for making them! They look great in the room!

I purchased this swimsuit from Kelly Kids. Is it not the cutest thing you have ever seen!? I cannot wait to put him in it!

We finally got the changing table painted and put in the room. All we needed was the changing pad and Jim and Anna gave it to us at the couples shower. Thanks so much! I haven't got everything organized in it, so just disregard the mess. Oh, and don't forget the diaper genie beside the table. Thanks Keri!

We received the stroller at a shower at Kayla's house (which was great). Josh's aunts, uncle and granparents bought it for us. It matches the car seat and high chair.

Couples Shower - 2/13/10

I wanted to post some pics of some of the items we recently received at our couples shower. The shower was wonderful! Dave, Mandi and the hosts and hostesses did a wonderful job decorating, cooking and hosting! Everything was perfect! We had a wonderful time and we appreciate everyone coming to the shower! A Winter wonderland!

So it snowed and snowed and snowed in South Alabama today! It was looking a little iffy this morning as to whether it would really snow or not today. It started out as freezing rain and then began to snow (huge snowflakes). It snowed from about 8:00am to about 3:00pm here. I have enjoyed watching it out the window. So pretty! I really didn't want to get out in it, because I was so warm and cozy inside the house, but I finally ventured out late in the afternoon. If I wasn't 35 weeks pregnant I think I would have built a huge snowman! I opted for a miniture one instead. ;)
